GENESIS 5 Β· SACRED TIMELINE
At first, it looks like nothing more than a list of names.
A genealogy. A record. A quiet chapter you almost skip.
But read it slowly.
And you'll notice a rhythm.
He lived. He had sons and daughters. He died.
He lived. He had sons and daughters. He died.
He lived. He had sons and daughters. He died.
Adam died.
Seth died.
Enos died.
Cainan died.
Mahalaleel died.
Jared died.
Death, generation after generation.
The rhythm of a world under the curse.
Then the rhythm breaks.
"And Enoch walked with God:
and he was not;
for God took him."
No death. No burial. No end.
One man, in the middle of a chapter about dying,
was simply taken.
Everyone else died.
Except him.
This is Genesis 5.
The chapter of generations, time, and mortality β
where life is measured in centuries,
and death becomes a rhythm.
Until one man walks so closely with God
that death forgets his name.
No commentary. No doctrine. No filters.
Just Genesis 5.
Verse by verse. Frame by frame.
As it was written.
As it was meant to be felt.
π¬ If God broke the rhythm for one man β what did Enoch know that the others didn't?
