The film is set in Shanghai during the early 20th century (the Japanese occupation). Chen Jin (Bruce Lee) returns to the Jing Wu martial arts school to find his beloved teacher has died under mysterious circumstances, amidst constant harassment and racism from a rival Japanese martial arts school in the city. When Chen discovers that his teacher's death was not natural but the result of a conspiracy, he embarks on a fierce and epic journey of revenge to defend the honor of his clan and his people, using his terrifying fighting skills and the ninjutsu.
Fist of Fury (also known in some regions as The Chinese Connection) is one of the greatest and most famous classic martial arts films, released in 1972 by Golden Harvest Studios. The film stars kung fu legend Bruce Lee and is directed by Lou Wei.
