We Were Wrong! Broken Sur Ron and Segway X160 Motor And Comparison In this video, we are reviewing the differences between the X160 and Lightbee X. After two unrelated motor failures we decided to disassemble both motors to try to make one work. We then quickly realized they are completely different! This came as a big surprise to us, as we have had dealers cross-reference X160 and X260 motor part numbers and we have also spoken with US-based BAC tuners. Everything pointed at them being the same! Here's an inside look at the motors and their differences. One motor has been tested at 8.5kw with hard riding and it lasted about 2 weeks before it started having issues.
