Ligeti Quartet released NUC, a new album featuring Anna Meredith's compositions arranged for string quartet, via Mercury KX in 2023. Described by DJ Mag as “an exercise in innovative instrumentals with plugged-in aspects spanning crescendo-filled curios, reflective mournful moods, arpeggiated frenzies and dramatic builders”, and by the BBC as "an album that continually surprises and enlightens", the deluxe version of the album also features the Songs for M8 suite, performed here at state51.
