Criminal Justice: A Family Matter (s01e03) is titled "Quid Pro Quo". Ira's disturbing drawing: During a supervised interrogation, Madhav examines Ira's drawing book. The images include a disturbing drawing showing Roshni on the floor surrounded by blood, raising concerns about the child's perspective on the crime. A new lead emerges: Madhav's brother-in-law, Deepu, follows the garbage collector, Monu, and leaks video evidence of his lecherous behavior to the media. Monu is arrested after it is revealed that he had been secretly recording and taking photos of Roshni. The case changes hands: The case is taken away from Gauri and assigned to her ex-husband, Harsh, after the police fail to find the murder weapon.
