The masterpiece is back! The title of the 45th film has been decided to be "Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil." Released in 1983, "Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil," a beloved and deeply moving masterpiece of the "Doraemon the Movie" series, will be reborn in 2026 after more than 40 years. The director of "Doraemon the Movie: New Nobita and the Castle of the Undersea Devil" is Tetsuo Yajima, who has worked on numerous films, including the TV anime "Doraemon," 2007's "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld: The Seven Magicians," 2011's "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the New Steel Troops: Winged Angel," and 2024's "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita's Earth Symphony," bringing out the best in each of them. The script will be written by Isao Murayama, who has written numerous episodes for the TV anime "Doraemon." This will be his first time working on a "Doraemon the Movie" series.
