Story Summary:
The story begins with a female police officer named Chitra Basu. She joins a new job as a Sub-Inspector. Her father was also a police officer. She got the job through her father’s reference. Because of this, the senior officers do not respect her much.
Suddenly, many newlywed brides start committing suicide in the city. Chitra investigates the cases and feels something else is behind the deaths. One day, a newspaper publishes this case along with Chitra’s name. But since she had no proof and only her own theory, she gets suspended from her job.
Later, the same type of incident happens again. So, the higher officers call Chitra back to work.
Can Chitra find out the real reason behind these deaths? Why are the brides dying even before their wedding night?
