Doraemon: The Records of Nobita, Spaceblazer (ドラえもん のび太の宇宙開拓史, Doraemon Nobita no Uchū Kaitakushi; literally translated as "Doraemon: Nobita's History of Cosmic Reclamation") is a 1981 Japanese animated science fiction neo-western film. It is adapted from the second volume of the Doraemon Long Stories series. The film premiered in Japanese theaters on March 14, 1981, marking it as the second installment in the Doraemon film franchise. In 2009, the movie was remade under the title Doraemon: The New Record of Nobita's Spaceblazer. The storyline draws inspiration from the 1979 chapter "The Amazing Nobitaman" and the 1980 chapter "Wild Wild Nobita."
