Cue from the score of an aborted independent Colombian film. Composed, arranged, performed, mixed and mastered by Scott Sadowsky. This is the final cue in the film. Previously, we saw the man our protagonist seduced and manipulated with a malevolent spell first stalking her, then chasing her, and then attacking her, culminating in her killing him in self-defense. This vision is consistent with how she sees herself at her core - as a permanent victim who is free of all responsibility for the events in her life, who makes her decisiones based not on ethics or values but on a cold calculation between her desires and the likelihood she will face consequences for fulfilling them. This version of events is likely not just what she will tell the police, but what she will convince herself is the truth, too. Art imitates life yet again. In this scene, we see the same death portrayed in a rather different manner. Here, our protagonist's former favorite person, the man she sought to control totally and have him love her unconditionally, is lying helpless on the beach, barely able to lift a hand to defend himself, as she sits astride him and literally bashes his head in while laughing maniacally. She is cheered on by her imaginary friend, who we saw in the opening scene. Clearly, she has gone over a border line and crossed into some sort of psychotic state, and cannot help but see this man she once so deeply desired as the most evil of villains. Yet even here, it's hinted at that she doesn't feel responsible for her actions, as we are shown flashbacks of her childhood. In the end, was this self-defense or murder?
