Gray has the defeated Teddy Jin taken out of class by his flustered friend, Chad Jang. Stunned at how thoroughly Teddy has been physically and mentally broken, Chad thinks to himself that Gray is a demon.
As Gray sits down, Eugene notices the former's hands shaking. He realizes that Gray has been terrified throughout the encounter but kept a straight face and faced his fears head-on. In comparison, Eugene feels pathetic for having lived his life in fear without ever attempting to better his situation.
Meanwhile, Alex's friend in Class Eight is running out of excuses to tell Ben. Luckily, Alex has healed enough from his injuries to return to school the following week. When Ben gives him a call, he evasively replies that he had to go on a trip. Ben is happy to hear Alex is coming back. Gerard Jin, who has overheard the rumors about the incident with Jimmy Bae is less optimistic, but shrugs it off.
Once he's able to stand on his own, Teddy leaves school early, much to Chad's frustration. Video of the fight with Gray is already spreading amongst the students, including Phillip Kim. As Chad returns to Class One, he is confronted by Phillip over the incident.
