As a savant of the New Zealand media, my dream television network - Patrick Te Pou Enterprises Ltd (trading as PTV Network New Zealand) - is made up of the largest family of free-to-air channels in the country, similar to ITV in the UK.
The video you are about to see is a mock closedown sequence. It is intended that each PTV Network channel (except CPTV or Children's PTV which is similar to CITV) would close transmission and although infomercials would run for 2 hours each night (straight after closedown). These are followed by a test pattern with background music which would be shown on screen until the start of the next day's transmission, although the music within this video is muted due to copyright restrictions.
Infomercials cannot be shown in the early hours of Good Friday, Easter Sunday or Christmas Day. This is due to the Broadcasting Act 1989 which states that no advertising can be shown on New Zealand television on those days. The test pattern will be shown just after closedown (in place of the infomercials).
This is the last few seconds of a Thin Lizzy Puffy Eye Remover infomercial (courtesy of TV Shop/Brand Developers), followed by a test pattern featuring a photo of Hanna Wain - aka Dariel Dearlove (photo courtesy of The Undefined Photography). Hanna was named Miss Viva Las Vegas runner-up in 2017 and a finalist in the Miss Pinup New Zealand pageant twice (2016, 2019). She was also named Miss Hibiscus Vintage twice (2016, 2017), Miss Beach Hop in 2016 and Miss Kumeu in 2017.
PLEASE NOTE: The Thin Lizzy Puffy Eye Remover infomercial was recorded at the time of transmission and some information contained may be expired.
DISCLAIMER: Patrick Te Pou Enterprises Ltd (trading as PTV Network New Zealand) is a fictional broadcaster and will not broadcast to New Zealand, as it is fictitious and imaginary. This is also a mock closedown sequence using Movie Maker. Thank you for understanding.
