The story of Chakra Ka Rakshak revolves around a massive robbery that takes place in Chennai on India's Independence Day. The theft is highly coordinated and well-planned, targeting 50 houses across the city. Among the robbed households is the residence of an Indian Army officer, Chandru (played by Vishal), who discovers that his late father's Ashoka Chakra medal—his most prized possession—was stolen during the heist.
Chandru, who also serves in the Indian Army, sets out to investigate the crime and recover the medal. As the investigation progresses, he joins forces with ACP Gayathri (played by Shraddha Srinath), who was already handling the robbery case. The trail of evidence reveals that the robbery was not a random act of theft but rather the work of a highly intelligent cybercriminal.
The antagonist, Leela (played by Regina Cassandra), emerges as a genius hacker with a traumatic past. She orchestrated the robbery to finance her operations and cover up her larger schemes. Leela is not only skilled in technology but also in manipulating systems and staying several steps ahead of law enforcement. What ensues is a thrilling game of cat-and-mouse between Chandru and Leela, filled with mind games, high-tech warfare, and clever plot twists.
