Decades passed without extraterrestrial threats, leading to the disbandment of the squad. But just as the program is shut down, the aliens finally arrive, triggering an all-hands-on-deck scramble to save humanity. The storyline offers a mix of action and sci-fi elements that are characteristic of low-budget, straight-to-DVD movies. Unfortunately, Invasion Roswell suffers from a lack of originality and polished production. While it has a few exciting moments, the narrative relies heavily on predictable plot devices.
