A sequel to the 2020 drama Insect Detective, which follows the story of Tan Jing Tian (Zhang Yao), a toxicologist, who attempts to clear his name from a murder.
In search of a twisted and perverted serial killer, Jing Tian travels to Thailand. The killer uses butterflies and moths to scare his victims. The investigators find that the killer has no remorse and will continue his killing spree until he is caught. Jing Tian feels that death follows him everywhere he goes. He vows to unveil the truth even if it causes him his sanity. He does not care about the killer’s identity as long as he gets to serve justice.
