Craig Before the Creek- An Original Movie Trailer - Cartoon Network

7 ViewsMar 25, 2024

The Crow, like 2001: A Space Odyssey, separates between those who see and those who don't (or can't). Alex Proyas will never achieve anything remotely close to this artistic masterpiece again, and if Brandon Lee dies, there will be no better time and place (do not misinterpret my words or meaning here). Personally, I will forever be indebted to him for what he left behind... A performance in a film that challenges, pleads, invokes, and portrays. A surreal scene of good and evil in almost equal proportions. I am not a goth, and I have never read the original comic book story, nor do I wish to. I simply regret watching the successive, appallingly inappropriate parts... Don't make the same mistake! Despite all its gruesome violence, filth, and Gothic decadence, The Crow is a story of pure, very pure, love, so immersed in the darkest adult fairy tales that its strength cannot be undermined or diminished. Eric Draven's spiritual pursuit of those who killed his beautiful girlfriend is not so much a revenge story as it is a reminder that karma balances out in the end. It's the role of a lifetime for him. If I were in a position to watch only two films again for the rest of my life, they would be 2001 and THE CROW. At no stage could I say that I've seen everything they had to offer.
