You know just yesterday I was on reddit making a topic about how Zhongli and Neuvillette might be connected and what do we get from Mihoyo? The two dragons meet. Not a direct meeting of course. Mihoyo's not that kind. But it's enough to know that after Neuvillette huffed and puffed in his Voice-Overs about one day having time to visit and then pass judgment on the Archons he actually does visit Liyue and nothing happens. In fact he even leaves Furina in Zhongli's care and yes we do know he knows who Zhongli is thanks to those Voice-Overs. Not exactly something you'd do with your sworn enemy right? Furina's practically a surrogate daughter to the man now. Anyway this Lantern Rite was much more personal and not quite so lore-filled. Even this part only really means anything with respect to my theory so if you weren't a subscriber to it this quest means nothing to you. There's another big event coming though so I'll be seeing you guys for that. Hope we get something good! (you know last time we got an event like it we heard our first hints about Qiaoying Village and here we are now with it released in game!)
