Please tell me it doesn't take all of that to fix an Asian parent and child's relationship. No wonder my friends have trauma. Where's a Dragon God King and his merry band of Power Rangers when you need them? Ok all kidding aside, this year's Lantern Rite is over and done with and that was a pretty fun cutscene..... though it was pretty much spoiled by the livestream lol I'm not sure what to think about this one. I mean last year we got to see Guizhong for the first time not to mention Cloud Retainer's human form which we now have in game along with Madame Ping's young form that the leakers are claiming will release next year. (Let's see if they're right lol) Anyway this year was what? The adepti playing with kites? Acting like disobedient kids when Cloud Retainer (who is younger than them) catches them? Sneaking around to set up a kid to make up with his dad? I mean the biggest piece of "lore" we got was the adepti telling us stories about the yaksha and I'm pretty sure nothing will come of that one. I'm pretty sure that's not why they turned on each other lol Not really sure what happened there but hopefully this isn't the trend. I mean you guys remember Lantern Rite 2? Jade Chamber came back in that one. We got a whole opera out of the deal. Lantern Rite 3? Sure we got Guizhong lore but then what we had as an opera a year ago became that horrible and horribly short duet in all four localizations. And now this year sure we've got that lion dance but zero lore lol. What'll happen next year? They're just hanging out? But still what did you guys think?
