"Beatrice" is an enigmatic force that aligns with the desires of those who wield it, actualizing their wishes. Only Tokyo Beatrice University Attached High School teaches this magic that manifests in the real world. Yoshimura Mamoru, a high school student, was rescued by Beatrice from danger when he was a child. On his first day of school, he encounters Takasu Ayako, a girl who demands that he go out with her. Ayako is a second-year student who is one year Mamoru's senior. She serves as the disciplinary committee's director, is stunningly gorgeous, and a Beatrice whiz who can shoot down satellites. Though she is referred to as Witch Beatrice or Death Angel in the Beatrice community, she is, in truth, a virtuous young woman.
