In an attempt to get closer to Zach's cousin Miles (Archie Renaux), a grad student who shares similar intellectual interests to Zoey, she joins his family on a ski trip for the weekend pretending to be Zach's girlfriend. Caught in between the two men while maintaining the girlfriend facade, her determination to look for compatibility as opposed to romantic love begins to falter.
