Inuyasha and his companions had finally destroyed Naraku. They each start going their separate ways. Sango will search for her younger brother, Kohaku; Miroku returns to his old home; Inuyasha, Kagome, and Shippo go to collect the rest of the Shikon shards. Unfortunately, this peace will not last. Shortly thereafter, the full moon rises and continues to rise every night, bringing with it the promise of danger. Kagura and Kanna go looking for a mirror, inside which is the ruler of eternal night, Kaguya. To release her, they must collect five items and drop them into the Five Lakes of Fuji. Releasing her would mean the worst danger to InuYasha and the others. Who are forced to face this new threat.
