Lois Lane and Jimmy Olson explore the Hall of Justice when the Justice League mysteriously vanishes, but they are soon driven out by a ghost, forcing them to seek Mystery Incorporated for assistance. While traveling to Metropolis, the group learns that the absence of the Justice League has caused a supervillain invasion of the city. After barely making it to the Daily Planet, they run into Lois and Jimmy, who explain the situation and declare Daphne to be their girlfriend in spite of her objections. The gang runs across Mercy Graves, Lex Luthor, and Luthor's dog, Rex, while touring the Hall of Justice. Krypto the super-dog and Mystery Incorporated work together to look into the disappearance of the Justice League.
