Erika Shinohara fibs about her love life to impress her new pals, and in a rush for a "boyfriend" photo, snaps a picture of a good-looking stranger - who is actually Kyouya Sata, a well-known and kind-hearted person. Bound up in her deceit and determined to avoid shame, Erika asks Kyouya to pretend to be her significant other. Kyouya, however, is not the sweet character he seems; he is, in fact, a cruel, malicious person who declares Erika his "dog" in exchange for keeping her secret. Although she has no choice but to agree to his terms, Erika gradually catches a glimpse of the true Kyouya beneath his multifaceted mask.
