Nobita was struggling to come up with a suitable research topic for his summer break assignment. He found himself pointing the blame at Adam and Eve for their sin and subsequent hardships, including the daunting homework task. Seeing his frustration, Doraemon provided him with a device that would allow him to witness the creation of the world firsthand, enabling him to document his observations in a diary-style report. Suneo, Giant, and Shizuka later joined him, and together they observed the formation of tribes and civilizations. However, their plan was interrupted when the time patrol discovered evidence of an illegal time machine. Giant and Suneo were apprehended, leaving Nobita, Shizuka, and Doraemon to safeguard the genesis set and mount a rescue mission for their captured friends.
