Kaede Komura is Ai Mie's colleague, and he is constantly fixated on her. All he wants is for her to stare at him with those gorgeous eyes hidden behind her glasses because he is drawn to her charming charms. After only a few days of getting to know Ai, Kaede sees that something is off about her: her eyes are squinting, and her spectacles are missing. But he still thinks she's so cute!
Ai often unintentionally forgets her glasses. She has trouble getting through her day at school because of her poor vision. Thankfully, Kaede is eager to assist her. Kaede's affections for Ai deepen as she begins to rely on him. Similar to how Kaede gradually develops into the person Ai always aspires to see despite her limited vision.
