Mix & Match Episode 2 - IKON SURVIVAL SHOW (ENG SUB)

Mix and Match was a 9 episode long reality show that aired from September 11, 2014 to November 6, 2014. In this show the members of Team B (from WIN: Who Is Next) were joined by three new trainees (Jung Chanwoo, Jung Jinhyeong, and Yang Hongseok). Three members of Team B, B.I, Bobby and Jinhwan were fixed members of iKON and acted as leaders and aids to the others. The remaining Team B members, had to recover from the damage to their pride and conquer their fear of being separated from Team B. Episode Style: The episodes largely focused on the survival members getting ready for monthly examinations and mock-eliminations. While trying to hone their singing and dancing skills, the new members also did their best to find a place within the tight knit Team B boys. Team B, who had already been together for over a year at this time, were reluctant to let new people into their friend group. In one episode you can see just how emotional the show was for the original six when the new trainees weren't pulling their weight for practises. This moment was critical for showing the new trainees what type of group they were actually competing to get into. Like with WIN, fan voting was included in the final choices for who would be in iKON. The final members were announced from November 4th to 7th 2014. In order they were: Junhoe, Yunhyeong, Chanwoo and Donghyuk. Fanmeets: As part of the show, Team B plus the three new trainees went to three different countries to greet fans and get their votes for the permanent spots in iKON. The shows were in Osaka Japan, Beijing China and Seoul Korea. Approximately 40,000 Japanese fans applied for 2,000 tickets, while more than 50,000 Chinese fans applied. For the final episode recording on October 22, 2014 it is reported that 150,000 fans applied to attend.
