Drifting Home

Kousuke and Natsume, two sixth graders who have been friends since childhood, find themselves avoiding each other as they grow older. However, one day during summer vacation, they visit a housing complex that holds many memories for them, but they get caught up in a mysterious phenomenon while playing. When they wake up, they find themselves surrounded by an ocean, as the housing complex has drifted into a strange sea with them and others in it. With no idea how to return to their previous world, Kousuke, Natsume, and the others embark on a summer farewell journey. As they explore the strange sea, they encounter new challenges and meet new people. Along the way, they learn more about each other and themselves, as they confront their past and face the uncertain future. As they travel through the sea, Kousuke and Natsume's relationship begins to mend, and they become closer once again. However, their journey is not without its dangers, and they must work together to overcome them if they ever hope to return home.
