"An urban fairytale."
Jamie and Ste go to school together and live in the same flat in a large suburb of London. Jamie hates sports, is therefore not popular at school and regularly skips school. Ste, a real sportsman, has problems at home. He is abused by both his father and his older brother. When Ste is beaten up again at home, Jamie's mother, Sandra, naturally offers him shelter. In this way Ste comes into contact with the tenderness that is lacking in his home. And in the intimacy of this unexpected situation, Jamie is increasingly drawn to Ste. Ste tries to hide his feelings from the outside world for some time. But that is eventually made impossible for him when Leah, a girl next door, spreads a rumor.
