Blackpink Light Up The Sky 2020

The documentary film Blackpink: Light Up the Sky, which Caroline Suh will be directing in 2020, covers the tale of the South Korean girl group Blackpink both as bandmates and as individuals and charts their ascent to popularity. The documentary, dubbed "an adorable documentary that accentuates each member's individuality," was published just under two weeks after Blackpink's first studio album, The Album. On October 14, 2020, Blackpink: Light Up the Sky became available on Netflix in every country. It is the first documentary made by Blackpink and the first K-pop original content on Netflix. The four years since Blackpink's debut in 2016 are covered in the all-access documentary featuring video from their training sessions, a peek into their daily life, behind-the-scenes tales, and interviews with the members.
