Genre : School , Sport Cerita diawali dengan legenda ‘Kiseki no Sedai’ dari’ SMP Teiko, yakni sebuah tim seangkatan yang berhasil mempersembahkan tiga musim yang sempurna bagi sekolah mereka. Mereka terdiri dari 5 orang dan seorang pemain legendaris keenam yang misterius, pusat ceritanya sendiri berkisah tentang klub bola basket SMA Seirin yang tengah mencari bibit-bibit baru untuk tim mereka. Bagai ditimpa durian runtuh, Kagami Taiga, seorang anak laki-laki atletis lulusan Amerika yang jago bermain basket, mendaftar di klub mereka. Tak hanya itu saja, klub mereka kembali dikejutkan dengan datangnya seorang anak dari SMP Teiko, seorang anak berperawakan biasa yang bernama Tetsuya Kuroko. Meski banyak yang meremehkannya, ternyata Kuroko adalah pemain keenam dari ‘generasi ajaib’ SMP Teiko. Dengan kemampuan ‘tak terlihat’ Kuroko dan fisik sempurna Kagami, mereka bertekad untuk mengalahkan anggota dari generasi ajaib SMP Teiko lainnya. Mampukah mereka?
