Peng Lai has a very unconventional relationship with her daughter Bai Tian and that's because Peng Lai left her young daughter with her father in order to pursue her own dreams of becoming a rockstar abroad. When Bai Tian's father dies unexpectedly, Peng Lai is forced to return home to a now teenager and learn how to become a mom while not giving up on what she left behind. Can the two find a common tongue and have a bond or is being a mom just not something this rockstar can ever achieve?
