The First Purge

Genre: Action, Horror, Sci-Fi. Starring: Y'lan Noel, Lex Scott Davis, Joivan Wade. The financial crisis and other problems faced by US authorities have finally destroyed the American dream. The once-leading world power has changed. Now completely different people stood at the helm: the Republicans and Democrats were replaced by an alternative party, whose members call themselves "New Founding Fathers" and promise to restore order in the States. True, for this they resort to very unusual measures, in particular, they come up with the sociopsychological experiment: for 12 hours, citizens will have complete freedom and will be able to do whatever they want, including stealing and killing with impunity. According to the idea, only one night of lawlessness will help people "throw out steam" and thereby improve the situation in the country. The first venue for Doomsday is New York Staten Island. The vast majority of its residents suffer from unemployment and lack of money, and therefore willingly agree to participate in the experiment for a fee. For those who did not have time to leave the island, the coming night will be a test, because the streets are full of those who are embittered and ready for the money.
