While on her way to get medical expenses for her husband Wang Wenyong, Liu Yumei is stopped by He Zhiwei, a first-day city management officer, who detains her electric bike for alleged illegal parking. Despite Liu Yumei's desperate pleas, He Zhiwei falsely accuses her of the 20,000 yuan she just withdrew from the ATM being illegal income, with bank staff also making accusations. Unable to defend herself, Liu Yumei receives urgent calls from the hospital demanding surgery payment. In desperation, she steals the officer's electric bike to escape but is arrested before reaching the hospital and sentenced to 20 years in prison. At the sentencing, Wang Wenyong miraculously awakens from his coma. As the kingdom's only royal lawyer, he not only sues the entire city management team but also brilliantly argues against multiple opponents in court.
