“Rules of the Girls’ Dorm” is a suspense‑filled, chilling short series that follows a group of female students as they engage in a life‑and‑death struggle within a mysterious six‑bedroom dormitory. The story revolves around a set of eerie “dormitory rules”: keep the room clean, don’t turn on the lights at night unless necessary, and never look up in the bathroom… Each rule seems simple, yet harbors deadly dangers. Even more unsettling, these rules appear to be bound by an irresistible fate—violate them, and cruel death awaits. The protagonist, Huiyu, gradually realizes that she has only three lives to spare, and each failure will cost her one of them. As the plot unfolds, she must contend not only with the conflicts and suspicions among her roommates but also with sudden attacks from “inspectors” wearing animal masks. Yet the true crisis runs far deeper: the dorm’s power system seems to be controlled by some unseen force, with late‑night blackouts, broken rules, and even attempts by outsiders to break in and uncover the secrets hidden in the darkness. Throughout the series, the girls, each with her own distinct personality, waver between fear and trust, their delicate relationships heating up with every passing moment. As the central figure, Huiyu grows stronger with each harrowing ordeal, striving to unravel the truth behind the rules. But just when she begins to piece things together, even greater mysteries emerge. Who has orchestrated this deadly game? And why did they choose her and her roommates above all others? With its tight pacing and layer upon layer of suspense, “Rules of the Girls’ Dorm” draws viewers into a校园 world that feels both familiar and strange. It explores the struggles and choices of human nature in extreme circumstances, while using meticulous details to reveal the vulnerability and resilience of young women facing an unknown threat. This is a battle of survival and courage, and also a tragic ballad of friendship and betrayal.
