Princess Don't Be Afraid, I'm Here to Save You

Lu Yu, a Ming Dynasty royal guard, is struck by lightning while saving Princess Lin'an during a rare celestial event and travels to modern times. He's rescued by Zhu Yan, who takes him home where Lu Yu sees a photo of Zhu Yan's daughter, Zhu Lin'an, and mistakes her for the princess. However, Zhu Lin'an has been kidnapped by a fraud group while traveling. To save her, Lu Yu disguises himself as a tourist and infiltrates the criminal organization, while Zhu Yan works with Liu Sisi to negotiate ransom payments. Lu Yu eventually realizes this Lin'an isn't his princess, but decides to save her anyway. Together, they outsmart the criminals, gather evidence of their crimes, and help police destroy the fraud ring, rescuing many victims. Lu Yu chooses to stay in modern times with Zhu Lin'an's encouragement.
