Notwithstanding what her name would imply, Hana Tabata is not at all like a flower. Her limbs are far from thin, and her eyes are too tiny. Since she is "ugly," she is aware that she cannot have a fairy tale romance or cute stuff. Despite this, she continues to daydream every morning while caring for the lovely flower beds at the school that contrast with her appearance. Tabata meets her classmate, Yousuke Ueno, who is recognized for being both attractive and incredibly nice, during a chance meeting one day.
