Later, Zagan encountered the white-haired elf maiden Nephy, who was up for auction as a Demon King relic, fatefully when his friend Barbaros accompanied him to an illicit auction one day.
Zagan used all of his belongings to entice Nephy to return to his castle. But he was not adept with words and had never really interacted with people, so he didn't know how to talk to Nephy or even carry on a regular conversation.
