I was the king's maid, trained for 6 years. Unexpectedly, I became pregnant before the princess even entered the palace. This was the biggest taboo in the royal household. So I packed my child and the king's property and fled to the capital, unaware that the wheels of destiny had just begun to turn. I was originally a country girl who sold herself to a human trafficker because of a severe drought and crop failure at home. If I had stayed, my parents and younger siblings might have starved to death, so I sold myself.
