Battle of Gambling Kings

After rising to fame as a gambling master, he faces jealousy and persecution from the industry. Imprisoned for three years, he is released for good behavior only to find his family destroyed. In 1996 Hong Kong, prison bully Lao San loses everything including his leg to inmate A-Tai's superior gambling skills. A-Tai is released early and returns home to find his wife Xiao Ying has left him for wealthy Wei Shao and demands divorce and property. After signing the divorce papers, Lin Jia-tai uses his gambling fortune to buy new property and begins his revenge plan against those who framed him. He joins Kang Shao's casino, earning trust through victories, but secretly sets traps that eventually expose Kang Shao's cheating, causing him to lose everything and a hand. Lin Jia-tai disappears and later meets Meng Meng, whose parents initially despise him but accept him after he proves his worth. His enemies discover he is the legendary gambler 'Green Python.' Sister Miao and her goddaughter Cui Xi challenge him to establish themselves as gambling royalty. Though they poison him and cheat, Lin Jia-tai wins and exposes their tricks. The retired gambling saint Wei Zhao-min appears as the final boss, leading to an ultimate showdown. Despite nearly losing hope, encouraged by Meng Meng, Lin Jia-tai defeats Wei Zhao-min and is recognized as the new gambling king. However, tired of the gambling world's deceptions, he retires with Meng Meng to live peacefully.
