The conversation starts when Momo Ayase, a high school student from a family of mediums, intervenes to shield her classmate Ken Takakura, also known as "Okarun" and a devoted occultist, from bullies in the classroom. Momo believes in ghosts but not aliens, whereas Okarun believes in aliens but not ghosts. Nevertheless, the two quickly clash.
