People who have Oni and Momotarou blood in their veins have a long-standing feud. The Momotarou defend the human world from the unruly Oni, who are reckless, impetuous, and chaotic. Shiki Ichinose is a careless and reckless adolescent who is proud of his expulsion from school and conscious of his disobedience. Shiki's foster father, Tsuyoshi, loves him despite his disobedient demeanor. Soon after, when a Momotarou storms in seeking Shiki, Tsuyoshi's unselfish love is demonstrated in a dramatic episode.
