Moon Alien Arcade

In Moon Alien, the player controls a small spacecraft at the bottom of the screen that can move horizontally while firing upwards at waves of alien attackers. The aliens appear in organized formations at the top of the screen, then break formation to dive toward the player in groups or single units. The motion patterns are more dynamic than in Space Invaders, and enemies are faster, with occasional sweeping or looping attack runs. Each alien destroyed awards points, and higher-value enemies appear intermittently. The player must avoid both direct collisions and enemy projectiles. The game is structured around survival and scoring rather than progressing through clearly defined levels. When all aliens in a wave are defeated, a new formation appears with faster movement and more aggressive behavior. The pacing of Moon Alien is tight: aliens dive quickly and unpredictably, forcing the player to balance between offensive shooting and evasive positioning. The player’s ship fires a single shot at a time, meaning accuracy and rhythm are critical. A hit on the ship destroys it immediately, and the player continues until all lives are lost.
