Humans and monsters known as katawara make up the two factions that split the world. Tama, a katawara, is devoted to safeguarding humanity from evil, even at the cost of facing out against her own kind, since she loves them. Despite mainly being a human, her brother Jinka despises people. A cowardly swordsman named Shinsuke joins the siblings with the intention of learning how to become powerful. The group swears to destroy the person responsible for the experimentation and transformation of humans into monsters after discovering it. even if it means going up against a whole warrior force.
