Upcoming film “Suunjapbang” (romanized title) has unveiled the main cast lineup including ASTRO’s Sanha, Kim Kang Min, and Baek Sung Hyun! The film “Suunjapbang” tells the story of noble man Kim Yu, a real person in the Joseon Dynasty who wrote the recipe book “Suunjapbang.” In his third year of taking the national civil service exam, Kim Yu meets Gye Am, who calls himself the best chef in Joseon, and starts searching for the life he really wants as he gets immersed into the world of gastronomy. “Suunjapbang,” which is the core subject of the film, is a traditional recipe book handed down in the prestigious head family of the Andong Gwangsan Kim clan as an heirloom. It is also one of the national treasures of Korea as it is the oldest Chinese manuscript in Korea that contains the recipes for 121 types of alcohol and food.
