Due to her severe illness, a young girl spends the majority of her life in a hospital room playing otome games. One day, she finds herself in the middle of a short story from one of these games, dressed as the villainous Aileen Loren D'Autriche.
Aileen's childhood friend and the crown prince, Cedric Jeanne Elmeier, announces he is in love with Lilia Rainworth, the game's female protagonist, during the banquet to celebrate the end of the academy's winter term. Having seen ahead of her a tragic future, the young girl makes a conscious decision to change it by making her half-brother, Claude Jeanne Elmeier, fall in love with her in place of the game's final boss, "Demon King".
