The crew of Luffy and his ship have arrived at Anabaru's harbour. An enormous monetary reward awaits the first person who reaches the finish line first in a competition organized by the local casino. The competition is an exciting opportunity for Nami, so she decides to participate. It turns out that there is a conspiracy behind the competition, which is helmed by Gasparde, an ex-military commander. It is his plan to lure all the pirates to the military base and send them all to their deaths there.
